Hi, I’m Sophia!
The founder + creative mind behind Everra

For two years, I worked my first real corporate job — or, as I like to call it, my “big girl job” — in marketing and events. I loved the creativity and the people, but I found myself itching for something more. I’ve never quite felt built for the traditional corporate mold, and I’ve always believed that behind every company, brand, campaign, or bottom line are PEOPLE.
Events were where I saw that most clearly. Titles disappeared, conversations became easier, and coworkers, clients, and customers simply got to enjoy being around one another. People laughed a little louder, stayed a little longer, and connected in ways that don’t always happen behind a desk or through a screen. That’s the part I fell in love with.
And in a world becoming more digital by the day, I think those moments matter more than ever. Technology can connect us in incredible ways, but it can’t replace being in a room together, discovering something new, having an unexpected conversation, or experiencing something you want to tell someone about afterward.
So I left New York and moved to Charlotte without knowing anyone here, but with a very big idea of what I wanted to create. Charlotte had always felt different to me, full of community, creativity, connection, and possibility. It felt like a city that was becoming something, too. And it felt like exactly the right place for Everra.
Everra is my way of bringing it all together events, hospitality, marketing, design, storytelling, and above all, people. Because the best brands aren’t only seen. They’re felt. And I want to create the moments that make people feel something.
Moments of becoming. ✦
